There are some projects underway that I have come across that I just wanted
to point out.
Weblily.net is already running
Also, there are several html5 IDEs for other languages (C, html, etc.). One
of these (sourceLair) supports compiling. So theoretically, one could build
on this, add syntax highlighting for the Lilypond language, and figure out
a way to display the score after compiling.
