Oh, I didn't remember this thread (I suppose I did see it at the time, but it was certainly one of those discussions my brain automatically discards as too-clever-for-me :-).
Your work was focused on something more advanced and specific than what I'm planning to do, but if you have any suggestions or additions, you'll be more than welcome!
Neil's suggestion of using a music identifier rather than a music property does make sense, but like you I was really hoping to use a music-property since it does look way cleaner. I suspect, however, that this would require some C++ work (which I'm not ready for).
