% I was very happy to find out that \parenthesize works not only with notes,
but very unhappy to find out that the brackets seem to have constant size.
For example, they are too small for chords:
\new ChordNames \chordmode { c \parenthesize d }
% therefore i ask you, o Magnificent Developers, to make
the \parenthesize match the size of the object for which it is used :)
