Longer explanation:
I want somebody to figure out what that property did (in 2.12), then figure
out what the new command is called (in 2.13.36), maybe take a side trip for
a few weeks while people on -devel rename the current property names (so
wait until .38 or so), and then change those examples so that they use the
appropriate tweak with the new spacing code.
(or maybe there's some reason such that this tweak is no longer necessary
-- but examine this on a case-by-case basis)
