Hmm, that is interesting. I've just tested it in VirtualBox, and get the same result.
TBH, I'm pretty stumped as to what's going on; when I changed the status, I thought it might be a guile gc issue in the Instrument_name_engraver, but having fixed that, it didn't make the slightest difference.
How can I debug this? Is it feasible to do a GUB build for linux-x86 with debugging symbols?
