1) I don't know; try experimenting!
2) If you're not certain, than it's probably better to leave this issue
for a doc
helper (i.e. a moderate or advanced user who does the experimenting) to
tackle. If
and when a doc helper sends you updates, act on them; otherwise, leave it
blank.
You're not responsible for the entire docs; nobody expects you to have all
the
answers. The most important thing is that you're available to respond to
people when
they have doc suggestions.
If you're not certain what to work on right now, Issues 958 and 1017 both
have higher
priority than this one, and I think they're both good matches for you.
