Comment #5 on issue 993 by percival.music.ca: translation infrastructure
for new website
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=993
I'm trying to be exact here. As far as the WEBSITE BUILD (i.e. the thing
created by
website.make) is concerned, it only COPIES UPLOADED IMAGES.
Now, building the WEB MANUAL is a different story. If you want to fuss
around with
images for that, fine, but that's a separate issue.
If you want to point out that website.make's handling of images it not
ideal, I can't
disagree, but I'll point out all the critical problems with the build /
release / etc
stuff, and respectfully suggest that we have more important things to work
on. Or at
least -- I'll state that I have no intention of working on it; if somebody
wants to
send me a patch for website.make (or any of the website-related scripts
stated in CG
5.2), I'll give it due consideration.
