Building it natively is neither expected nor sought. However, both of you should be looking at that web page for every single release. The "annual checkup" is looking at every regtest on: http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.13/input/regression/collated-files.html or http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.13/Documentation/input/regression/collated-files.pdf Due to the filesize and certain web browser's instability, you might prefer to look at the pdf.
