I should have said that using \numericTimeSignature is a workaround (last time I checked). Apparently it worked in 2.8, so I assume that's why it's marked as a
regression.

I think we should keep the priority low, because a fix requires reworking the font
loading mechanism so that we no longer need the Type 1 fonts (such as
feta-alphabet20.pfb). AFAICS, nobody knows how to fix this completely (yet).
