IIRC the current state of our autoconf machinery, Century Schoolbook font lookup is first attempted by FontConfig, and if it's successful, the lookup stops. I hope we can refine fc-match lookup by excluding paths that contain $HOME. I'm so overwhelmed with other things that it's a good idea to add it in the tracker.
