http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=805 As Werner has pointed out, we're currently missing a proper test for the autoconf version in aclocal.m4. In particular, the following message is always displayed no matter how recent the autoconf version is: autoconf <= 2.59 with g++ >= 3.3 gettext test broken. Trying gcc, cross fingers.
