Another real-world example would be in Stanford's Te Deum Laudamus (in B flat) - in the organ part just before "We therefore pray Thee, help Thy servants" there's a pair of ties (both D flat --> C sharp) across a key change (B flat major --> A major.) In
my copy this is also across a system break, just to throw in a little extra
complication.
