I don't think that \setTextDecrescOn make sense, because that's not an on/off
setting, but one of many settings. In particular, for decrescendi we have
-) Hairpin
-) "Decresc."
-) "Decr."
-) "Dim."
Clearly, there is no on/off setting involved, so I'm voting for leaving
the names
\setTextDecresc, \setTextDecr, \setTextDim, \setHairpinDecresc.
