This program is actually different from all the programs you might have ever used. There are no menus, no windows, nothing. You just have to save a file with some text in it (as the pad page told you), then double-click on it, wait a few seconds, and you should see a PDF score appear next to it... It's a bit unusual, but you'll see it's actually simple and powerful. Have fun! :) PS.
