Issue 504: lilypond broken on osx 10.5

"We", meaning whoever has the time and effort to compile it.
Sure, I'm fine compiling and command-lining my way to a binary via UNIX
(by the way, DOS sucks), I enjoy using
UNIX every so often for some tasks. The thing is, most Mac users don't
want to have to turn thrice around, touch
their noses to their knees, and then slap their rears five times in
order to get a binary. They want it ready for
them, pre-compiled. Most Mac users aren't familiar with UNIX in any
way, and if it was up to them to figure out
how to write a plain text file, they'd be rushing to the local
bookstore for a UNIX book.
