I want to print on standard sheet music paper in the USA, which is 9x12 inches. I added this form to the "paper.scm" file and also set the correct width and height in my .ly file. However all the printed output to PDF still behaves as though the paper is 8.5x11 and margin properties do not reflect the specified extents. IOW no matter what I do in printing the PDF it will not properly fill out the 9x12 page and the margins in the ly are not what gets printed. Also the line width will not let me go wide enough to properly fill out the 9 inches and get more measures across.
I am surprised that LilyPond does not yet support the standard paper size for classical and sheet music in the USA. Can this be possible? I've never seen a pro orchestra reading from letter size, it's generally always 9x12. What's up? I am a new user (formerly Finale), but am learning the program fast due to the excellent documentation and examples. It will be a relief when this bug is fixed to actually be able to print my work. BTW Finale calls this "Concert" size paper, I think it is also called "Manuscript", but most often "Concert". -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/9x12-inch-paper-support--t1390677.html#a3737566 Sent from the Gnu - Lilypond - Bugs forum at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ bug-lilypond mailing list bug-lilypond@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-lilypond
