If it confused you, then it isn't too minor. However, I'm not familiar
with this issue, or vocal stuff at all. Please look at chapter 7 and
figure out exactly where this material should be placed. In addition,
please tell me exactly what text I should insert.

But in this version (with added rest) the vertical spacing is

}
}
One workaround is to add a hidden note before the rest, and a skip in
the
lyrics.
