Whatever.  It's just that most stuff seems to work now, without the
need for BAT hacking, so I'm not going to look at this again.  I may
consider a well written and tested patch to the installer, but I'm
not going to maintain intricate BAT scripting.

It works on several versions of 98 and ME, I'm not sure about 95.
