I hope you know that the 2.7.x versions of LilyPond are
development versions. Bugs in these versions are often
fixed even before they are reported on the mailing list,
so please update to the latest available version before
sending a bug report on a development version.
Also, it's always a good idea to check the mailing list
archives first to see if a bug has already been reported.
I know that some problems with shape notes have been fixed
in later 2.7.x versions, but don't remember the details.
In general, I recommend the stable versions (2.6.x) for
any serious typesetting and the development versions if
you are adventurous and want to assist with bug searching
or have need for some specific features that are not
available in the stable versions. In this particular case,
I seem to remember that there are even more bugs on the
shape notes in 2.6.3,. though.

Quoting Eduardo Vieira <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
Hello fellows,
I tried the 'shape note' feature of Lilypond and was disappointed to
see what happened when the stem of a triangle shape (the "do", or the
tonic of a key) note is down: it sticks out far beyond the corner of
the triangle :(
Could it be fixed?
See the attached file. By the way, this file I got from the Mutopia
site and added shape notes.
Thank you
Eduardo
P. S.: I'm using Lilypond 2.7.4 (for Windows)
