Hi,
there was a memory leak in LilyPond 2.5.29 (now fixed). Unfortunately,
there is also a memory leak in GUILE 1.6. See
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/guile-devel/2005-06/msg00023.html
until guile 1.6.8 or 1.7.3 is released, you'll have to do your book in
multiple runs. Sorry.
