If you peruaded LilyPond to do it, then you shouldn't complain. :-) I guess you mean that you got the extra page without asking for it.
This is probably due to a recent fix that I introduced to work around a previous bug that occasionally made the "Engraved by LilyPond" to appear at the footer of the second last page of music. I think the problem you report is less severe than the previous bug and I don't know of any better workaround. The problem is a general TeX/LaTeX issue since once the page breaks decisions are made, it's very hard to affect the contents of the page.
