If you look at the definition of autoBeamOff:

    autoBeamOff = \property Voice.autoBeaming = ##f

that's no surprise.  The partcombiner switches threads between
voices, so you'll have to set the autoBeaming property for the Staff,
or for both Voices, one and two.
