Well Samuel already merged your patch, so I wouldn't really worry about it. 
 It is documented somewhere, and that's what counts!  :)

I personally like to copy Sergey's emails' text directly into the wiki. 
I believe that is what I did with this page:

Sometimes I will convert the irc logs into their own wiki pages. These two
