What do you mean by "edited" ? debian-cd picks up the .deb files from the mirror, that are needed to have an installable system. What "edit" do you see there? It happens that it helps getting something installable by forcing some packages to be installed from debian-ports. Ideally one should just *not* have to do this. If bugs were actually getting fixed, not worked around. Samuel
