I did not.. however what i will try later tonight is to edit mtab and
let the system boot without /home and see if it completes boot.
Things should have improved, but my past year-long experience in Hurd is
to have separate partitions: I intend to do a lot of compiling, incase
of crash, I'll corrupt my home more likely than the rest, this is safer.
Also, if I can fix this installation, I'd prefer.. it took me two days
to reinstall hurd: not continuously attented, but the operation was
quite slow.. CD-ROM and HDD seem to be quite slow in access, especially
the former.
I did install ONLY from the CD using the minimal set. I did not enable
the network stuff at all!
