Indeed for an project as open as this, we can't expect you to come up with a definitive list of items you're to complete, and the time needed for doing that. Well, you can easily start by sending a patch to fix one specific compiler warning. Don't forget to prepare your student application form, <http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/community/gsoc/student_application_form.html>, and send it to Google site, in time before this Friday.
