Indeed for an project as open as this, we can't expect you to come up with a definitive list of items you're to complete, and the time needed for doing that. I think it should be enough if you identify some specific items that can be worked on (for example, certain classes of compiler warnings, identifying and ripping out unused functionality, make the code "more readable"). > > Any ideas where or how I can start > > cleaning of GNU mach? Well, you can easily start by sending a patch to fix one specific compiler warning. Don't forget to prepare your student application form, <http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/community/gsoc/student_application_form.html>, and send it to Google site, in time before this Friday.
