devprobe eth0 works well. gnumach is able to see eth0. and runnimg qemu like this qemu -m 1024 -net nic,model=rtl8139 -net user -hda debian-hurd-20111214.img But today networking started to work in qemu:). Though it solves my problem but would be great if i can know why it was not working earlier.Any pointers how can i find that?
