Hi, First of all, sorry for missing the meeting. I don't really have an excuse this time -- I just went to sleep, totally oblivious of the meeting :-(
Anyways, I read the log ( http://richtlijn.be/~larstiq/hurd/hurd-2010-07-12 ), and wanted to follow up on some of the issues discussed. I already talked to Jeremie about handling of partitions in grub-probe. As this is a rather fundamental issue, I hope he will start an extra thread on this. The other thing was backwards compatibility for the pager modifications done by Karim. I agree that it would be very helpful -- for testing; for upgrades once the stuff is mainstream; and also for committing mainstream. Being able to commit the components independantly will simplify things a lot. So if it's not too much hassle, I'd suggest implementing compatibility sooner rather than later... -antrik-
