Well, there are programs that are adaptable and programs that are not. If you took a professional photo editor and wanted to make a simple photo editor you would have to rework the whole gui. However, if you take git and add some scripts that hide some of git features you can offer a simpler interface to the same powerful system. Thanks Michal
