That for me isn't a moot point - it rather is a very strong point. Many people who write negatively about the Hurd in Forums still say "the day it can be used" or similar depressing stuff. That depressing talk shatters on a healthy dose of real-life when I can just answer "It is already in use for the wiki - why don't you go and check it for yourself?" That's one of the strongest weapons against the negative mindset of people who think "the Hurd can never become something" because they were disappointed when the Hurd didn't fullfill their (too high) expectations in the past. So I think it is quite an asset to run the Hurd wiki on a Hurd box, since we can then adher to the "eating your own dogfood" principle. "Our wiki runs on a GNU/Hurd system. Just check it to see the Hurd in operation." But "our official site runs on a GNU/Hurd system" sounds even stronger.
