Mmm, how is exactly the basic stuff booted libc-, libpthread- and ld.so-wise? One important thing is that there shouldn't be a mix of non-TLS libc with TLS libpthread and vice-versa. Also, a non-TLS ld.so wouldn't work for TLS libc+libpthread.
