But, I was really stuck with incomplete documentation for Hurd. The Hurd Hacking Guide, for example, didn't take me much further (lot of TODOs): http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/hacking-guide/hhg.html There are two types of coders I have seen. Some people just keep coding, coding, coding, and they know the code in and out. They don't require documentation. For some people, it is important to show them simple examples to get started with on various libraries, interfaces, functions etc., and then slowly they get to explore the different components of the code, and then really involve themselves with development. I request the core developers to spend some time with some documentation on the design, or enhance Hurd Hacking Guide documentation.
