   Huh?  The rule of thumb works perfectly.  I didn't say just start
   coding, I meant start analyzing and looking for the direction you
   think we should go.

I want to code, I don't want to analyze the general direction of
things.  As a non-maintainer it is not my decision to set the general
direction at all.
