That is the mailing list manager robot on my site that receives moderator messages from mailman. It processes those messages through spamassassin and if the message is strongly spam then it sends back to mailman a discard command for that spam message. Since most spam is typically very strongly spam this covers most of the drudgery that previously needed to be handled manually. What is left after removing the spam are the valid messages.
