Someone hacked together a jfs translator once... You could base your work on that. The mailinglist is slow, you probably have the message now. Got it. They're very nice details, but quite useless without a good OS. And the L4 port won't change the OS very much; if at all. If you consider that the OS isn't good, then just working on porting the Hurd to a new kernel won't fix it... Forming an opinion about what should be implemented and how is an essential part of implementing anything. So I shall code, but I shall not shut up.
