Hello, Anthony Ventimiglia wrote a trivial patch, back in July 2002, that added support in the gnumach-1x branch for Dlink DFE 538 TX (and actually works even on DFE 528 TX). Since they are common rtl8139 NIC (and I have many of them ;-) I think it would be a good idea to apply it..
