Thanks for the Source code browser link. Does any body has idea if a
simmilar software exists to browse local (offline) source code
repositories ?
LOBAL is not only a HTML tool. It has to build a tags database and this database can be accessed by different tools. GLOBAL supports emacs, vi and others.
