There is a bug in the default pager or in GNUMach that makes tmpfs unusable.
Please record this bug in Savannah (there is file upload too). Even if you intend to fix these bugs soon, they don't seem trivial[1] so you can easily be distracted by other tasks.
[1] I consider everyting connected with understanding GNU Mach source as not trivial ;-)
