Why do you want to remove bsdfsck? I think it will be used more often when the 
Hurd has more users. Just because it haven't been touched for a while and 
because most people prefer ext2 is no reason to remove it IMHO.

I also think we shouldn't remove defpager, but fix it instead. AFAIK it is 
portable code, mach-defpager is not. I assume defpager is required for L4-Hurd. 
Defpager is also mentioned in the TODO list:

** finish default pager in defpager !!

I'm wondering, what needs do be done to get defpager to work?

Can someone please explain what libtreefs does, why it exists and what is 
missing? I think most people (including me) don't have an idea.
