Oh sorry, you talk about indn and rin here, I didn't get this at first. That's a capability the Linux console doesn't have either, so I guess we can do without it. Of course we can implement it very easily within the current server code, but I guess it is simpler just to make sure we cover all the capabilities that the "linux" terminfo entry does and not much more (differences should have sound reasons), so all programs will work, even stupid ones.
