I didn't know about it. I followed my old notes which said that the place to look for scsh is ftp://ftp-swiss.ai.mit.edu/pub/su/scsh/scsh.tar.gz, which in turn was a symlink to scsh-0.5.3.tar.gz, the newest file in that directory. I'll try scsh-0.6.2 next. But as long as scsh uses only posix and glibc features, the difference between hurd and linux are quite small.
