I'm trying to compile the 2.3 branch. I can't use 2.2 for pthreads because I need the TLS changes. I hope this isn't going to give much problems. > With this, I beleive that we no longer support gcc 2.x. Compile this > with gcc 3.0. According to some mails on the libc lists, you need 3.0.3. I tried with 3.0.2 yesterday, the newest hurd-i386 debian package, and it didn't work. I don't know if it's my fault, a bug in 2.3 or the compiler. I've compiled 3.0.4 and I'm going to try again. :) > I haven't load tested this at all. *do not upload binaries compiled > against this libc to Debian*. I'm still stuck in the DAM queue anyway. :( Jeroen Dekkers -- Jabber supporter - http://www.jabber.org Jabber ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Debian GNU supporter - http://www.debian.org http://www.gnu.org IRC: jeroen@openprojects
