When I harcoded: libc_cv_gcc_unwind_find_fde=yes
in sysdeps/mach/hurd/configure, the compile worked and produced a usable glibc (for shared libraries. I'm still hunting down my static library problem). Perhaps the test given here is incorrect? test "$oldest_abi" \< "2.2.5" $oldest_abi is "default".
