For those who don't follow slashdot: There's an article about a project that has emded Orbit (A Corba ORB) in the Linux Kernel. The example they use is writing device drivers in PERL. http://linuxtoday.com/news_story.php3?ltsn=2000-12-09-013-20-NW-GN-KN If it catches on, would this be a relatively clean interface for sharing user-space drivers between Linux and Hurd? -- No matter how big the bell, if you only tap it, it can give out only a faint sound.
