Yeah, yeah, I know, I know.  I didn't quote the rest of Aaron's message
where he addresses that.  I should have known better than to actually
try to simplify anything.  I give up.

The whole point, as I understand it, is that it's *not fraudulent*.  Why
else would that paragraph be in maintain.texi?  But anyway, since you
view this as a stopper, I guess I now have to raise it with SFLC.  Sigh,

    us change rms's mind at some point?  

What do you want to propose?  I'm afraid that I have no idea what you
