The first line in indeed '#!/bin/ksh'. For what it is worth, /bin also contains bash, csh, jsh, sh, tcsh & zsh on Solaris 8. Solaris 7 only has csh, jsh, ksh & sh. Tom Schulz Applied Dynamics Intl. sch...@adi.com
