Sorry, but you're still being very cryptic. Please send us enough information to reproduce the bug. Without your help, we cannot reproduce the bug and cannot fix it. I looked around the net for this bug number, and finally found <http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6613056>. There is not enough information there to let us reproduce the bug either. It does appear that you are using an old version of gzip; the current version is 1.3.12, but you are using gzip "1.3.3-patch.1", which I guess is gzip 1.3.3 (dated 2002) with some patches from Sun. So, one possible fix is that you simply upgrade to the latest version of gzip. Perhaps you can try doing that.
