The problem occurs on a freshly installed guix system after running guix
pull and guix system reconfigure config.scm; Any reconfigurations of the
system after guix pull are broken. When rebooting into the new system
generation it doesnt ask for the drive encryption phrase and freezes on a
"This is the GNU system. Welcome" screen. it stays on that screen for a
minute or so before the screen goes black with just a blinking light in the
top left corner. It does not enter a GRUB rescue shell. To reboot, I need
to press the physical power button. Any kernels built with the commit prior
to the guix pull work fine, whereas I have not found a way to make the new
commit create a working system configuration.
