Thanks for the report.
Although the feature would appear to me useful, I’m closing the ticket
because there is the last activity had been 6 years, 22 weeks and 6 days
ago.
Now this instance of Debbugs is done and the project has moved to
<https://codeberg.org/guix/guix>, this ticket has no chance. Well, I
would suggest to re-open a new ticket on Codeberg to let a chance to
this wishlist. :-)
