bug#77970: Pkg profanity no longer builds

Hi Frank,

I just submitted #77982 <https://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=77982>.

It fixes Profanity build on my machine. And everythings seems to work fine.
Can you try to apply and test it?
